Orange Spot Snail x1

Introducing the PAPUA Snail, an enigmatic operculum snail hailing from the Viviparidae family.

We're thrilled to announce the addition of these captivating viviparous snails to our collection.

Sporting a reddish-brown shell reaching 2-3 cm in size, the viviparous snail boasts a strikingly dark blue foot adorned with charming orange spots.

In their natural habitat, PAPUA Snails thrive at the sediment-rich bottom of aquatic environments, occasionally burrowing into aquarium substrates. Keeping a small group of five in aquariums as small as 15 litres, maintaining temperatures between 22 to 28°C and a pH of 7.5 is recommended, alongside ensuring pristine water quality.

These snails will enjoy grazing on algae and bio films from aquarium furnishings. Dried Hokkaido pumpkins or brown autumn leaves are also eagerly consumed.

Don't miss out on this exquisite snail species! While the shell may appear darker than depicted in photos due to algae growth, rest assured it's easily removable, enhancing the snail's allure.
